About Our Founders
K Tyson Thomas, MD
Dr. K Tyson Thomas is a founder of IMPACTINGHEALTH. In addition to his role with IMPACTINGHEALTH, Dr. Thomas is a Board Certified General Surgeon with The Surgical Clinic. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and a member of the Southeastern Surgical Society.
Dr. Thomas completed Medical School at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine before completing both is internship and residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He lives with his wife, Amy, two sons, and one daughter in Franklin.
Zach Evans is a founder of IMPACTINGHEALTH. In addition to his role with IMPACTINGHEALTH, Zach is the Chief Technology Officer for XSOLIS, which helps healthcare organizations manage revenue risk through a real-time predictive analytics platform that minimizes avoidable loss, mitigates the risk of denials, and streamlines operational processes. Immediately prior to this role, Zach was AVP, Technology for Case Management and Performance Improvement for HCA in Nashville. Prior to joining HCA, Zach was CIO of CareHere based in Brentwood.
A veteran of start-up, early-stage and established companies, Zach is also an adjunct faculty member of Lipscomb University College of Business. He is a former member of the Faith Family Medical Clinic Board of Directors, President and Board Member of the Grassland Athletic Association, and a graduate of the Young Leaders Council.
Zach has spoken at the Nashville Technology Council’s Healthcare Innovation Summit and is a published author on topics ranging from channel conflict to sexual discrimination in the workplace. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and a Master’s degree from MTSU. Zach lives with his wife, Mandy, three sons, and one daughter in Franklin.
